What’s In My Gym Bag!?

Bikini season is soon approaching my friends which is why I’ve been making more of an effort to hit the gym and get active! You all know I’m not a gym junkie but I do see the importance of living an active lifestyle and whether I like it or not, I really do feel better after a good sweat session. So with that said I figured I would share what’s been in my gym bag lately including my go to snack that I have before, after, and any time in between going to the gym- it’s just that yummy!

I discovered barkTHINS® during my bachelorette in Palm Springs of all places and it was seriously love at first bite. When we came home I searched high and low but could only find it in one store- until now! For the first time Canadians are now able to get their hands on the dark chocolate thins not only in multiple locations but in all four flavours- coconut & almond, almond with sea salt, pumpkin seed with sea salt, and pretzel with sea salt!
What I love about barkTHINS® is A. it’s dark chocolate and B. barkTHINS® are Non-GMO Project verified, Fair Trade IngredientsTM certified, and contain no artificial colours or flavours. Whether I’m eating it from the bag or crumbling it and adding to my yogurt, you can’t go wrong!

Runners + Headphones

If I forgot these two I would seriously have to turn back because working out in my ugg boots just isn’t practical and having no music at the gym is like eating a cone without the ice cream- am I right??

Extra Socks

I honestly don’t know how many times I’ve forgotten socks when going to the gym. It’s the worst. You would have thought I would have learned my lesson but it was only this year that I started packing an extra pair and guess what? I haven’t forgotten a pair since! They must be a good luck charm.

Hair ties, bobby pins, face wipes, and tampons are things that every girl needs in their gym bag. We’ve all had to go through those moment of having an annoying stray hair or having to ask someone if they have an extra tampon so why not just skip those unnecessary situations and pack em!? Let’s just say I’ve learned from my mistakes.
