How I Tackle Greys

Being a new mom I don’t have the luxury of having as much “me” time like I used to. The long hair appointments and hours I used to spend getting ready just aren’t happening anymore. These days I need products that are efficient and can be used on the go which is why I have been loving L’Oreal Paris’ Magic Root Cover Up and Magic Root Precision!

This year I’ve noticed a few grey hairs pop up and let’s just say they didn’t receive a warm welcome. When you have dark hair like I do, grey hairs can stick out like a sore thumb and I’ve been eager to find a solution. Luckily, L’Oreal’s Magic Root Cover Up and Magic Root Precision offer temporary coverage for both grey roots and temples. Both products are so easy to use and come out with one wash which is pretty amazing!

If you have grey roots and need more of a broader coverage you’ll definitely want to pick up the Magic Root Cover Up. Available in seven shades, the spray is lightweight and dries in seconds. Perfect for on the go!

The first time I tried it I was so impressed with how quickly the product dried and it didn’t feel sticky or smudge at all. The one tip I would suggest when using it is to wear a darker shirt or towel to avoid any transfer. However, if you do get a little on your top it washes out!

you’re like me and have scattered grey hairs or anything around your temples the Magic Root Precision is going to be your new bff! It’s unique applicator is designed for all hair lengths and is perfect for a more precise application. I love how creamy the product is, making it super bendable and easy to use.

Now that the greys have been taken care of it’s time to style and lately I have been loving the hair clip trend! I rarely have a lot of time to fully style my hair so clips and barrettes make it easy to achieve a chic look with minimal effort. There are so many fun clips out there these days, I may have gone overboard and purchased one too many. Oops!

Like I said, to achieve a chic look with barrettes takes minimal effort. You can rock the trend with straight hair or my personal fave, loose waves. For my go to look, I use a hair straightener to create waves and volume. I’ll then section my hair into a deep part and clip one side of my hair back with a variety of fun barrettes. The more the merrier! I love this look for running errands or a night out with the girls!
