With the sun out and shorts on it’s time to brighten up my makeup routine and what better way to do that then with a great lipstick!? I’ve received a lot of questions about my lip combos and figured I would share my current favourite summer lipsticks that I’ve been wearing on the regular.
My lips don’t have a lot of natural colour to them which is why I always grab a lipstick even if it makes me 2 minutes late #sorrynotsorry. From nudes to bright reds here are my current go to’s…
TOTALLY BLUSHING
First up is my ultimate lip combo that I wear every other day if not every day! I combine 3 different lip products which must seem like a lot but trust me they create the perfect colour and it lasts ALL day. I start off with the NYX lip liner to define my lips and then go ahead and apply the NYX lip lingerie on top. This colour is a little too dark for me which is why I pop NYX matte lip cream in San Paulo on top to help brighten it up. Feel free to use more or less of either colour to create your perfect combo.

POP OF PINK
This one is pretty general because I couldn’t decide which colour I liked most from the Milani Amore Matte collection! In Canada we don’t have a large selection of Milani products which is a total shame because they are amazing and super affordable. The colour payout of these lipsticks is comparable to most of the high end brands and this stuff won’t come off! I did some swatches of these colours and after using makeup wipes and makeup remover there was still some colour left over! I love these for a night out of food and drinks because I know this product won’t budge.
