4 Ways to Tie a Neck Scarf

Bandanas and neck scarves have been all the rage this summer and TBH…I’m a little late to the game. I don’t know what it is but when a trend comes on so strong that everyone and their mamma is doing it, I like to take a backseat. But now that the hype has died down I’m ready to take the plunge and take my turn at the neck scarf trend!

Not gonna lie, I had no clue how the cool kids were wearing their bandana’s and scarves these days so I did what every millennial does and YouTubed it. And my research payed off as I found a ton of different options, 4 of which fit my personal style that wanted to share with you!

These are all super easy to do and add a cool factor to any plain white tee or button up…

The Choker

This one is probably my fave because it’s just tres chic and so easy to do! Simply fold up your scarf, wrap around your neck, tie a knot in the back, and tuck the ends into the side.

Western

This is for all my fellow Albertans out there because of it’s western vibes. All you do is fold your scarf into a triangle and tie around your kneck! I actually love this style with a comfy tee for an unexpected touch.

The Knot

I’ve worn a knotted scarf a handful of times and I kid you knot (get it, knot ;)), I always receive a compliment or two! I’m really into Parisian style these days and find this option totally falls into that category. All I need is a bike, baguette, and Eiffel Tower to go with it!

Knotted Choker

I had no clue what to call this guy but seeing as it’s a combo of the knot and choker, the knotted choker seemed fitting! All you do is wrap it around your neck as if you were to wear it as a choker but instead of tucking in the sides, continue wrapping and tie the ends up at the front. Cute right!?

Seeing as my favourite of the 4 is the choker I figured I’d show you how I like to style the look. I definitely went for more Parisian vibes in a monochromatic look, bright lip, and oversized sunnies…oui oui!
