Current Beauty Must Have’s

It’s been minute since I’ve shared some of beauty faves with you guys and let me tell you the list has been growing! I’m not one to really mix up my beauty routine but there has been a lot of new goodies out lately that I couldn’t wait to try and have been loving. Instead of my blabbing on like I tend to do from time to time, let just get into it…

The Esteé Edit Pore Vanishing Stick

Esteé Lauder recently launched their Edit collection in an effort to cater to millennials and I was lucky enough to try out some of the products! I will admit some of the collection was a little gimmicky, like their flash photo gloss which is made with iridescent blue pearl to make your teeth look whiter. I have to say it didn’t really do it for me, but what did was their pore stick!

I apply this product first and then go in with my colour correcting primer to create that flawless finish before applying my foundation. The combo of the two really does make a difference and my pores look minimized, yay!

NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette

By now I think it’s safe to say we all know about strobing and the amazing difference a highlighter can make to those cheekbones. But if I’m being perfectly honest, highlighting wasn’t always a big part of my routine…until now.

I received NYX’s new Strobe of Genius palette and was so happy to see the variety of shades it had to offer! After all the hype I actually picked up the Becca Champagne Pop highlighter (I’m late to the game, I know) before receiving this palette and in comparison, I didn’t see a huge difference between the two! This palette comes with 7 shades and is only $27 which is a huge difference from Becca’s as theirs only comes with one shade and costs $46. It’s shocking, I know!

Physicians Formula #Instaready Contour Trio BB Stick

I have been obsessed with perfecting my contour lately but find I am super light handed when it comes to applying my make-up in fear of overdoing it. However, I’ve learned that when it comes to contouring if I really want to chisel them cheeks I need to add a little elbow grease.

What I love about this product is that you don’t need to overthink it as it does most of the work for you. All I do is find the point on my face that needs the contour and apply the stick in a swiping motion. I find it works best when buffed in with a beauty blender for that flawless finish. Consider yourself chiselled!

T3 Micro Curling Wand

I’ve received a ton of questions about how I curl my hair and what I like to use. Well, here it is! The T3 micro curling wand has been one of my faves for a couple of months now and has seriously stepped up my hair styling game.

If you know me then you know that I don’t typically get along with hair tools and have a scar on my wrist to prove it! But this wand has made my life so much easier as it’s actually a self curling wand. Yep, it does all the work of you! All you have to do is clamp the piece in, hit the button, and it starts twirling, leaving you with the perfect curl.
