The weekend before the holidays we had to chance to spend the weekend in Banff! If you have never been to the Canadian Rockies I’m telling you right now you need to add it to your bucket list because it’s beautiful! I think living only a few hours away we take the mountains for granted but every time we have a chance to visit I’m always left thinking, ‘we need to do this more often!’.
We were originally going to go snowboarding that weekend but with -35, even the lifts refused to work it was so cold! We ended up having a very relaxing weekend filled with delicious food, hot tubs, and great company!
During out trip we decided to spend the afternoon in Lake Louise. It’s breathtaking in the winter and just as beautiful in the summer with the crystal blue waters so of course we couldn’t help but snap a few pics!
