If you know me then you know I love two things; simplicity and BIG hair! So when TRESemmé reached out asking me to try their new hair care system that totally flipped the traditional routine upside down and resulted in voluminous locks the answer was easy. Sign me up!
With the system being so straight forward it was easy to get into the new routine. To start, instead of applying shampoo you begin with applying 2-3 pumps of the pre-wash conditioner. I know, conditioner before shampoo…insane!? Hear me out…after letting the conditioner sit for a minute and rinsing thoroughly the Fibre Polishing Actives actually bind to your cuticle protecting and softening all at once. Next, follow with the shampoo working it into your roots and letting your hair soak up all the goodness. Once you get a good lather going rinse thoroughly until your hair feels squeaky clean. The combination of these two products really is a dream come true. Afterwards my hair not only felt soft and smelt AH-mazing! It also had an extra bounce to it which was definitely welcomed with open arms.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me a little bounce but I’ll never turn down more volume when it comes to my hair. So after washing I turned to the Touchable Bounce Mousse to take things up a notch. Simply apply a couple of pumps to your roots flip your hair upside down and let the blow dryer do it’s thing.
Once dry I always turn to my curling wand, sectioning off different pieces to create effortless waves. I’ll usually let the hair cool and sprayed with a generous amount of the Flexible Finishing Hairspray. The best part about this product was that it didn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy and I could still run my fingers through my hair without loosing the curl.
